In today’s episode I discuss the different metrics (data) that YouTube has told us they look at. We discuss, viewer habits, watch time, CTR, and post video polls. YouTube as a platform just wants it’s users to stay on their platform as long as possible and as creators we can use this information to our advantage.

In today’s episode, I talk about the elephant in the room and something a lot of YouTube “Educators” are afraid to discuss. We are discussing hiring a YouTube coach, signing up, and paying hefty fees for a YouTube “Cohort” or “Mastermind” group. This topic is only taboo because, as educators, we offer these services. I’m here this week to shine some light on this topic and tell you when I believe you are in “Need” of professional services and the common mistakes creators make when hiring professional help for their YouTube channels and creative endeavors.
In this episode, I talk about growing on YouTube in general and understanding that the process has no shortcuts. A YouTube channel is something people can look at from afar and think that it’s just “easy” and that it’s relatively quick to get there. I’m here to tell you that is not the case. If you want to grow on YouTube and as a creator, it takes practice, consistency, and identifying your target audience and how you can serve them. The shortcuts are not actual shortcuts. It’s about learning what works, getting better every day, coming up with good ideas, and then packaging those ideas into good thumbnails, titles, and descriptions.
In today’s episode, I discuss the TikTok ban and its implications for YouTube, you as a creator, and the overall creator space. We also discuss not putting all your eggs in one basket, the transition from TikTok to other platforms, and so much more.
